Jesus gave his followers a new commandment: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Pastoral care is one of the ways we share God’s love, care, and concern for each.
This ministry is one-to-one lay caring ministry. Stephen Ministers are equipped and empowered through internationally recognized system of training and supervision to provide high quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. Individuals interested in volunteering for this ministry, please contact Rachel Woodson
Hospital Visit/Ministration of the Sick
Our clergy regularly visit parishioners in the hospital and at home during times of illness to provide support, prayer, and sacraments, if desired. Please contact the Rev. John Ohmer either by email or phone (703.241.0003).
We would be glad to pray for you and your loved ones in your time of need. To have a name added to the weekly prayer list, please email Rachael Cilladi, Office Manager.
Pastoral Care and Prayer Request forms are also available each Sunday in the Narthexes and pews, and may be placed in the offering plate during the Sunday Eucharist.
