Wayne Hastings

Wayne Hastings joins The Falls Church team supporting the parish’s digital communications and outreach. His work will include social media management, graphic design, email newsletters, website updates, and other digital content that helps share the good news of the parish and Christ's love for all people.

Wayne has extensive experience working with Episcopal congregations and currently provides communications support for two parishes in the greater Los Angeles area. His goal is to help churches communicate in ways that are clear, welcoming, and faithful to their identity. He will be working remotely, collaborating closely with clergy, staff, and lay leaders to ensure communications are timely, accurate, and reflect the voice and mission of the parish.

Parishioners on Facebook may already know of Wayne as the owner/administrator of High Church Coyote (Episcopal Humor), the largest Episcopal-themed Facebook Group with more than 238,000 members.

Wayne currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with his husband, Brooks, and their two dogs, Winston (Australian Shepherd) and Charlie (Pomeranian).
